INTRODUCING A MORE
ECOLOGICAL CAR
The Citroën C-Cactus concept, a car
designed on ec
ological principles. It includes
a signicant proportion of recycled or
recyclable materials and, like the plant
it is named after, it is low on liquid
consumption. At the same time, Citroën
C-Cactus is designed to be no more
expensive than a mid-range family car.
This can be attributed to the use of new
materials and to a rational design process
using a smaller number of parts. Citroën
C-Cactus is an essential vehicle reecting a
new vision of the car, many of its thoughts
and themes will appear in modern Citroën
vehicles to come.
AIRDREAM – A BENCHMARK
When it comes to the environment we
wanted to show our genuine commitment
as well as our profound expertise, so we
have devised a benchmarking scheme
with the signature ‘Airdream’ reserved
exclusively for the cleanest vehicles in our
range. To qualify for the Airdream signature,
vehicles must meet three standards:
1. a) CO
2
emissions of 120g/km or less
b) tted with DPFS with CO
2
below 158g/km.
2. Manufacturing quality of ISO14001.
3. 95% of recoverable materials.
