CD Changer Mode Operations
When a CD Changer (CDC605, CDC1205,
CDC1805, etc.) which is sold separately is con¬
nected, it can be controlled with the DRX9255.
Notes:
• CD-ROMs cannot be played.
• Read the owner’s guide for the CD changer
beforehand and set the CD.
Listening to the CD
Press the FUNC button SU and select CD
changer mode. Playback starts.

Fast-forward and fast-backward
Press the Up button 02] or the Down button 03.
► > : Fast-forwards the CD.
< ◄ : Fast-backwards the CD.
* Pressing and holding the button for 1 second or
longer will move forward or backward 3 times
faster than normal play, and pressing and holding
it for 3 seconds or longer will do the operation 30
times faster.
Scan play
Press the SCN button ED. “SCN” lights in the
display and the first 10 seconds of the tracks on
the current CD are played.
To cancel, press the'SCN button 07) again.
* Scan play starts from the next track of the one cur¬
rently being played.
When no CD is inserted in the magazine, or no
magazine is set in the CD changer, “DISC” flash¬
es in the display.
No CD or no magazine display
Disc scan play
Press and hold the SCN button @ tor 2 seconds
or longer. “ | disc I ” and “SCN” light in the display
and the first 10 seconds of the first tracks of all
the CDs in the CD changer are played.
To cancel, press the SCN button 0f) again.
* Disc scan play starts from a CD next to the one
currently being played.
Stopping (pausing) playback
Press the Play/Pause button 0f.
To cancel, press the Play/Pause button 03) again.
Select a desired CD
Press the Direct buttons E to select the desired
CD.
* The Direct indicator [b] with the number same as
the inserted disc number in the magazine lights.
Select a desired track
Press the Up button 02] or the Down button 03-
► >: Starts playback from the beginning of the
next track.
< ◄ : Starts playback from the beginning of the
current track. If pressed again, the previous
track is played.
Repeat play
Press the RPT button QQ. “RPT” lights in the dis¬
play, and the current track is played repeatedly.
To cancel, press the RPT button [4] again.
Disc repeat play
Press and hold the RPT button [3 for 2 seconds
or longer. “ | disc I ” and “RPT” light in the display
and the current CD is played repeatedly.
To cancel, press the RPT button 3] again.
