8. Unlatch right hand side
panel and pull it toward
you to open it.
Swing the side panel toward
rear of truck to expose the
battery and the right side of
the engine compartment.

9. Lift up on front of bat-
tery and swing it toward
you. The battery will pivot
(from rear) out of the en-
gine compartment providing
better access to fluid level
plugs.

10. Visually check the con-
dition of battery and cables.
Remove fluid level plugs
from all battery cells and
check fluid level in each.
Add distilled battery water
as necessary. Replace all
plugs and note battery and
cable condition to check
list.
