Troubleshooting guide
Theradio will not
switch on.
• Check thebatteries and change them if necessary.
• Make sure that themains adaptor and lead are intact and properly
connected to both theelectrical socket and theradio.
• Is there power at thewall socket being used?
Poor or non-existent
radio reception.
• Make sure that theaerial is fully extended.
• Try changing theangle of theaerial.
• Move theradio to another location.
No sound from
theconnected
device.
• Check thevolume level on both theradio and theconnected device.
If using theAUX-IN:
• Check that thecable connecting thedevice and theradio is
undamaged and properly connected.
• Is theradio in AUX-IN mode?
If using Bluetooth:
• Make sure that theBluetooth connection is correct.
• Test theplayback from your external device before connecting it.
• Try playback using another file. Thefile you are attempting to play
may be damaged.
• Pull theplug from thewall socket to disconnect theBluetooth radio
completely from themains. Insert theplug back into thewall socket.
Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce
thetransmission range.
• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of
obstacles located between thetransmitter and thereceiver
(e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with thesignal more than
aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether
this is thecause of theproblem. Reposition thewireless equipment,
shorten thedistance between thetransmitter and thereceiver or
reduce thenumber of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc.) between
them.
If none of theabove
works, try resetting
theradio to its
default factory
settings.
• Remove thebatteries and unplug themains adaptor. Wait for at least
5 minutes. Refit thebatteries and reconnect themains adaptor.
Turn theradio on again.
