Troubleshooting guide
Theradio will not
switch on.
Check thebatteries and change them if necessary.
Make sure that themains adaptor and lead are intact and properly
connected to both theelectrical socket and theradio.
Is there power at thewall socket being used?
Poor or non-existent
radio reception.
Make sure that theaerial is fully extended.
Try changing theangle of theaerial.
Move theradio to another location.
No sound from
theconnected
device.
Check thevolume level on both theradio and theconnected device.
If using theAUX-IN:
Check that thecable connecting thedevice and theradio is
undamaged and properly connected.
Is theradio in AUX-IN mode?
If using Bluetooth:
Make sure that theBluetooth connection is correct.
Test theplayback from your external device before connecting it.
Try playback using another file. Thefile you are attempting to play
may be damaged.
Pull theplug from thewall socket to disconnect theBluetooth radio
completely from themains. Insert theplug back into thewall socket.
Things to consider:
Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce
thetransmission range.
Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of
obstacles located between thetransmitter and thereceiver
(e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with thesignal more than
aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether
this is thecause of theproblem. Reposition thewireless equipment,
shorten thedistance between thetransmitter and thereceiver or
reduce thenumber of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc.) between
them.
If none of theabove
works, try resetting
theradio to its
default factory
settings.
Remove thebatteries and unplug themains adaptor. Wait for at least
5 minutes. Refit thebatteries and reconnect themains adaptor.
Turn theradio on again.
