2. Press [ ]. SCAN will disappear from thedisplay and “HOLD” will appear.
3. Thereading is now locked on thedisplay (17) and themeter can be
removed from thetest object without it disappearing.
Note: Thereading will disappear when [
] is pressed or when

Method 2 – MAX/MIN
1. Press [ ] until “MAX” (15) is shown on thedisplay.
2. Place themeter against thetest object and press theprobes in as far as
you can. Note: Push theprobes in straight to avoid bending them.
3. Themoisture content reading will be shown in digits in themoisture content
value field (17) and also graphically by anumber of bars on thebar graph (9).
4. Thereading is now locked on thedisplay (17) and themeter can be
removed from thetest object without it disappearing.
Handy tip: Without touching any of thebuttons, take another reading
on another part of thetest object. If themoisture content is lower or
equal to theearlier reading, thedigits on thedisplay will not change, but
if themoisture content is higher thenew value will be displayed. This
procedure can be repeated several times to determine themaximum
moisture content of thetest object. Note: Thereading will disappear
when [
] is pressed or when [ ] is pressed twice.
Note: Regardless which method you use, multiple readings should be taken
from several points on thetest object to get arepresentative picture of
themoisture content.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using asoft, dry cloth. Never use cleaning products,
solvents or corrosive chemicals for cleaning.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be
disposed of with general household waste. This applies
throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any harm to
theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that
thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner.
When recycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that
theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
