WARNING!
Cover for storage use only.

o not occupy the RV while cover is on
the RV.
Do not run the RV engine with the
cover on.
WARNING!
I
nstallation is best done with two people
and most RVs require working from the
roof of the RV. Never install on a windy
day or when the roof is slippery. Please
take care when you are on a ladder or
the roof.
Be sure that your helper does not pull
the cover while you are installing on the
the top of the RV.
For campers and 5th wheels: If you go
on your roof, be careful to stay toward the
back half—if you go out too far to

your RV could tip

orward.
Note: camper and 5th wheel covers are
only for use when stored off the truck.

AUTION
I
nstallation and removal is safer and
easier when done by two people.

ools Needed
• Scissors
• Matches or lighter (optional)
• Screwdriver (usually Phillips head) for
roof antennas.
I
nstallation
1.
Cover or tape any sharp edges on your
RV that could wear against your RV cover.
Be sure to lower any roof antennas.

or Campers
D
rape your camper cover over your pickup
camper with the zippered panel at the
back.
Pull the elasticized hems down over the
front overhang and in the
b
ack.
Buckle the three front straps
together (Fig.1).
Pull the two bottom straps under the
camper and snap into the buckles on the
opposite side (Fig.1).
Adjust all the straps for a snug fit. The
back panel can be unzipped so that you
can access the door to your camper. You
can keep the back panel open by rolling
it up and snapping the two short straps
at the right over the rolled fabric. (Skip to
Use and Storage).

or folding camping trailers
F
old your camping trailer down and secure
it before installing your cover. Find the
Classic logo on your cover—this is the
front. Slip your Folding Camping Trailer
Cover over the top of your trailer then pull
the elasticized bottom hem down along
the bottom edge of the trailer. (Skip to
step 4).

r most RVs
O
n smaller RVs your cover can be installed
with ladders but on most RVs it’s easiest
to install your cover from the roof.
Carefully climb up on the roof and have a
friend hand you the cover in its storage
bag. At the front of your RV carefully
remove your cover from its storage bag.
With the Classic logo to the front of your
RV unroll the cover down the length of the
roof. Drop the front of your cover over the
front of your RV then carefully and slowly
move toward the back spreading out your
cover and letting the sides fall down the
sides of your RV.
Climb down the rear ladder and pull the
back end of the cover down the back of
your RV.

ull the elasticized corners down over
the bumper(s) of your RV.

T
ie an end of the supplied rope onto
one of the D-rings (Fig.2) along the bottom
hem. Toss the free end of the rope under
your RV to the D-ring on the opposite side.
Allowing enough rope to make a knot,
cut it off and tie it to the D-ring. Repeat
with the remaining rope and D-rings. To
keep the rope ends from fraying you can
carefully melt the ends with a match
or lighter.

se and Storage
A handy storage bag is provided. To fit
your cover in the bag, fold and roll it tightly
rather than stuffing it. Never store a wet
cover in the storage bag or confined area
as the cover can be damaged by mildew.

lean your cover with a hose or with a soft
rag. Do not use soap as it could damage
the protective coatings on the fabric.
