Emptying the Dust Container and Cleaning the Filter
The dust container (8) should be emptied at regular intervals to maintain good suction force.
You can look through the transparent housing to see how much dirt has accumulated inside.
1. Hold the hand-held vacuum cleaner vertically, with the suction opening pointing down-
wards, over an open rubbish bin.
2. Hold down the release button (9) of the dust container and
carefully remove it.
3. Carefully remove the lter (5) and empty the dust container.
4. A piece of fabric tape is attached around the lter. Open the
Velcro fastener of the tape and gently tap out the lter and
the tape.
5. Wash the dust container, the lter and the fabric tape if
necessary under cold, running water.
CAUTION! Do not wash the lter and the fabric
tape in the washing machine.
6. Allow all parts to dry completely in the air before you insert them again.
CAUTION! Do not under any circumstances use a hair dryer. Do not insert the
lter under any circumstances if it is still damp!
7. Place the fabric tape around the lter and close the Velcro fastener.
8. Place the lter back into the dust container so that it sits directly on the housing wall all
the way round.
CAUTION! Never use the vacuum cleaner without the lter inserted.
9. First place the dust container at the bottom of the device and then ip it shut. The dust
container must be rmly locked in place at the top and bottom of the device.
