The ClearClick® HD Capture+Stream™ is a versatile device designed for capturing and streaming HDMI video. It supports 4K60 HDMI input and passthrough, along with 1080P60 recording and live streaming capabilities.
Function Description:
The primary function of the ClearClick® HD Capture+Stream™ is to capture video and audio from an HDMI source and either record it to a USB flash drive or stream it live to a PC or Mac. It acts as an intermediary device, taking an HDMI input, processing it, and then outputting it via HDMI passthrough to a monitor/TV, or via USB-C to a computer for recording/streaming. The device is capable of both video and audio recording.

Usage Features:
- Powering the Device: The device is powered by plugging one of the included USB-C cables into the "5V – 2A" port and connecting the other end to a USB power source (e.g., USB wall adapter or charging port).
- HDMI Connection: Connect your HDMI source (camcorder, gaming system, etc.) to the "HDMI IN" port. The device supports HDMI signals up to 4K60 input. For monitoring, the signal can be passed through to a TV or monitor using the "HDMI OUT" port.
- Recording to USB Flash Drive:
- Plug a USB flash drive (FAT32 or exFAT only) into the "Storage / Phone" port.
- Once the device recognizes the drive, press the "Record" button to start recording.
- The device records at up to 1080P60 quality.
- LED Indicators for Recording:
- Multicolor, fading LED: Device is ready to record.
- Solid red LED: Device is currently recording.
- Blinking red LED: Problem with HDMI source (no signal, HDCP/content protection) or USB drive issue. A blinking red LED means the device is not recording.
- Live Streaming to PC or Mac:
- Connect the device to your PC or Mac using the second included USB-C cable to the "UVC / PC" port. The computer should automatically install the necessary drivers.
- Download and install OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) from https://obsproject.com/.
- OBS Setup for Video:
- Open OBS, go to "Sources," and delete any existing sources.
- Click the "+" button, select "Video Capture Device," and click "OK."
- Set the "Device" to "ClearClick" and click "OK."
- OBS Setup for Audio:
- Under "Sources," click the "+" button again, select "Audio Input Device," and click "OK."
- Set the "Device" to "ClearClick" and click "OK."
- Once set up, you can click "Start Streaming" or "Start Recording" in OBS.
- Live Streaming from Smartphones:
- First, set up the device and OBS as described for PC/Mac streaming.
- Connect your smartphone to the "Storage / Phone" port using a high-quality USB-C or Lightning cable.
- Download and run the "Miraplug" app from the Google Play or Apple Store, allowing necessary permissions.
- In OBS, select the "Video Capture Device" under "Sources" and click the settings button.
- Set "Resolution/FPS type" to "Custom," select a resolution (e.g., 1920x1080), set "FPS" to "Match Output FPS," and "Video Format" to "H264." Click "OK."
- Mode Button: The "Mode" button (located on the bottom of the device) is specifically for H264 streaming only. Pressing it sets the device to allow recording in OBS with H264 format. If video doesn't show in OBS after pressing it, press it again and restart OBS, or change the video source settings to "Custom" and select "H264" for video format.
- Audio Ports: Includes a Headphone Port for monitoring and a Microphone/Reset Port for external audio input or resetting the device.
