The HALOONE™ Halotherapy unit is a device designed to deliver beneficial salt sessions for use in the home or sauna, replicating the atmosphere of salt mines. It utilizes a unique and proprietary salt mist delivery system (patent pending) to control the size and quantity of salt particles for optimal absorption. The device is designed for ease of use and effectiveness, making it a preferred solution for at-home salt healing.

Function Description:

The HALOONE™ unit generates a fine salt mist by aerosolizing a 3% saline solution. This mist is then distributed into the surrounding environment for inhalation. The device is intended for dry salt inhalation only, using specific HALOONE™ salt capsules provided by the manufacturer. It can be used in rooms up to 12' x 12' (3.5m x 3.5m) or inside a sauna with a maximum temperature of 140°F (60°C) for up to one consecutive hour. The unit is not designed for continuous use in a sauna and should be removed after each use if multiple sauna sessions are planned for the day.

The device features a control panel and an indicator panel. The control panel includes a fan switch, a power switch, a device status indicator, and an emotive light switch with an operation mode indicator. The indicator panel provides visual feedback for overheating, an empty water tank, charging status, and battery level. A timer is also integrated into the unit.

Usage Features:

The HALOONE™ offers flexible placement options: it can be mounted to a wall using the included wall mount bracket or placed on any flat and stable surface. For tabletop placement, it is recommended to position the unit a minimum of three feet from the floor to ensure maximum dispersion of the salt mist. When wall mounting, it is crucial to ensure the mount base is level using the included spirit level, and to avoid areas with electrical lines or water pipes behind the screw insertion points. If used in a sauna, it is recommended to remove the spirit level from the wall mount.

To start a session, the unit must first be turned on. When the power adapter is not connected, the unit will automatically turn off after 1 minute of inactivity to conserve battery life. To power on, press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds to enter Stand-By mode, then press the POWER button once more to fully turn on the unit. The status indicator will illuminate blue, and the session timer will begin counting down.

The device will not start a session if the internal saline solution level is low or empty. In this case, the status indicator will blink blue, and the empty tank indicator will turn on. To remedy this, remove the saline capsule holder, discard any empty capsule, insert a new saline solution capsule, and reinsert the holder into the device. The empty tank indicator will then turn off.

Sessions can be paused by pressing and holding the POWER button for 2 seconds. The session also stops automatically when the water tank is empty.

The HALOONE™ features a fan control to regulate saline mist distribution. When a session begins, the fan operates at a low speed. Users can toggle between high and low fan speeds by pressing the fan button, and the fan speed indicator will adjust accordingly.

An emotive light control is also integrated, offering three modes: breathing, on, and off. When a session starts, the emotive light defaults to the breathing mode. Users can cycle through the different light modes by pressing the emotive light button, with the indicator changing to reflect the selected mode.

The unit is powered by a dedicated 45W USB PD power adapter and an internal 5000mAh Lithium battery. To charge, connect the USB-C cable to the power adapter, open the rubber cover concealing the charging port on the unit, and insert the USB-C cable. Then, plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. While charging, the battery level indicator blinks. Once fully charged, the charging indicator will turn off, and the battery level indicator will stop blinking.

Maintenance Features:

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for optimal performance and longevity of the HALOONE™ unit. The air inlet can be opened to clean any residual salt. A clean, soft cloth with a neutral detergent or lukewarm water should be used to clean the unit. The outlet area should be gently brushed to remove any residual salt. It is crucial not to touch or push the metal outlet nozzle with excessive force, as this may damage the unit. Importantly, the unit should not be submerged in water, as this will cause damage.

For prolonged storage, a specific procedure should be followed: unplug the power adapter and charging cable (if connected), remove the saline cartridge holder, and empty any remaining saline solution from the device. The unit should then be left open overnight to allow internal parts to dry completely. The product should not be stored in areas with high temperatures or humidity. Disposal of the product and packaging should be done in accordance with local regulations.

The HALOONE™ is designed for use within a temperature range of 50°F to 140°F (10°C to 60°C). It should not be left in environments exceeding 140°F (60°C). Only HALOONE™ saline solution should be used; using other liquids may damage the device and pose a hazard to the user. Excessive force should be avoided when touching metal outlets to prevent malfunction. The unit should not be used if it, the power adapter, or the charging cable are damaged or defective. Any repairs or modifications should only be performed by an authorized service technician. The device should be kept out of reach of children under 8 years old.
