PRGSTRING - Program String
This command sets/reports a programmed string.
Command form: DEVICE
PRGSTRING <ID> [Value]
Argument details
Name Description
Device 0–7 or * to select all units
PRGSTRING Command
ID 0 – 7 (string location)
Value 1–80 Characters
CLEAR = Clear current value
Null = Current value
Example: #43 PRGSTRING 2 MUTE On PSR1212 unit 3 ( #43 ), string
location
2 is programmed ( PRGSTRING ) with MUTE .
Supported special characters
\a = alert
\b = backspace
\f = formfeed
\n = new line
\r = carriage return
\t = horizontal tab
\v = vertical tab
\\ = backslash
