The lap belt MUST sit low and snug on the child’s hips. Pull on the shoulder belt to tighten.
The shoulder belt MUST be centered over the child’s shoulder and lie across the mid point
of the child’s chest.
WARNING
• Do not use with the shoulder belt touching the child’s neck or face.
• Do not use with shoulder belt positioned under child’s arm or behind the child,
as shown in Figures 26a and 26b.
• To avoid serious abdominal injury or death, a child MUST sit upright and not
slouch in this booster seat, as shown in Figure 26c. If the child cannot maintain
an upright position in this booster seat with their buttocks in contact with this
booster Seat Cushion and their back in contact with the vehicle Seat Back, DO
NOT use this booster seat.
