Intel Turbo Memory Module
If you have included an Intel Turbo Memory (Robson) NAND flash memory card
module
in your purchase option, then install the driver as instructed below. However
if you have setup your hard disks in RAID mode you may have already installed this
driver (see “Setting Up SATA RAID Mode” on page 7 - 2).
Intel Turbo Memory Technology (also known
as Robson flash memory) is an Intel
technology that reduces the time it takes for a computer to boot up, to load applica-
tions, and to write data to the hard drive.
Intel Turbo & Matrix Storage Setup and Driver Installation
1. Insert the Device Drivers & Utilities + User’s Manual disc into the CD/
DVD drive.
2. Click Option Drivers (button).
3. Click 4.Install TM&iMSM Driver > Yes.
4. Click Next > Next > Yes > Next.
5. Click Finish to restart the computer.
6. For Turbo Memory modules that support User Pinning see “Intel Turbo
Memory Dashboard (User Pinning Supported Only)” on page 7 - 42.
7. For Turbo Memory modules that do not support User Pinning see“Intel
Turbo Memory Console” on page 7 - 45.
