3.Graspthebeltmidwaybetweenthedriveanddrivenclutchesandsqueezethebelttogetherastightlyaspossible
(Figure15-26,Page15-30).
4.Guidethebeltoverthedrivenclutchandrollthebeltoffthedrivenclutchbyrotatingtheclutchclockwise.

CAUTION
•Makesureyourngersarenotunderneaththebeltwhenrollingthebeltoffthedrivenclutch.
DriveBeltInstallation
1.Positionthenewbeltonthedriveclutchandthenstartthebeltoverthetopofthedrivenclutch.
2.Rotatethedrivenclutchclockwiseandrollthebeltoverthedrivenclutchsheavesandontotheclutch.
3.Installtheouterclutchcover.SeeClutchOuterCoverInstallationonpage15-37.
4.Connectbatteryandsparkplugwire(s).SeeSide-PostBattery:ConnectingtheBattery–Gasoline/Diesel
