Assembly
Mounting the handle
►P.4, item3
– Position the bottom part of the handle
bar(3) into the locators on the product
and push through the carriage bolts(17).
– Position the toggle nuts(18) and tighten.
►P.4, item4
– Position the handle bar(2) onto the bot-
tom part(3) of the handle bar and push
through the carriage bolts(19).
– Position the toggle nuts(20) and tighten.
– Tighten the pull starter holder(9) as illus-
trated and attach the pull starter(11).
Mounting the cuttings bag
►P.5, item5
– Screw the handle firmly to the cover with
2screws, as illustrated.
►P.5, item6
– Clip the cuttings bag to the wire frame as
shown.
Commissioning
Filling with fuel
►P.3, item2
– Unscrew the tank lid(16) and remove.
– Carefully pour fuel into the tank (max.
800ml). Do not spill!
– Check the seal in the tank lid for dam-
ages, and clean if necessary. Immedi-
ately replace damaged seals!
– Tighten the tank lid(16) by hand.
Filling with motor oil
►P.3, item2
– Unscrew the motor oil filling screw(12)
and remove.
– Fill with motor oil carefully (max. 600ml).
Do not spill!
– Tighten the motor oil filling screw(12) up
again by hand.
Set the cutting height
►P.6, item7
The cutting height can be set to several dif-
ferent heights (Cutting heights: ►Technical
data– p.43).
– Pull the lever(6) to the right.
– Set the cutting height to the value you
require, and let the lever slot back into
place.
Attaching the cuttings bag
►P.6, item8
– Lift the protective flap(7) and hold.
– Slot the cuttings bag(8) into place.
– Ensure that the bag has slotted into place
securely.
Mounting the ejection opening
►P.6, item9
– Lift the flap(21).
– Insert the ejection opening(5).
Mounting the mulching wedge
►P.7, item10
– Remove the collection bag.
– Insert the mulching wedge(22) into the
opening of the unit until it engages.
– Lower the protective flap(7).
DANGER! Risk of injury! Petrol is
extremely flammable!
Switch off the motor and allow to
cool down before refilling.
Observe all of the safety notes for
handling fuels.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the
device! The unit is delivered without
motor oil.
Motor oil must be filled before start-
ing the machine.
Note: Only use suitable fuels (►Fuel
and lubricants to be used– p.43).
Note: When using the ejection open-
ing, the mulching wedge and collec-
tion bag are not needed.
Cut material is distributed across the
lawn.
