Disassembly
1. Remove thegrille and air filter from
theback of thedehumidifier.
2. Remove thefilter from thegrille.
Cleaning
1. Wash thefilter carefully in warm water, use amild detergent if necessary.
Note: Do not wash theair filter in adishwasher.
2. Rinse thefilter in clean water and let it dry before reinserting it.
Assembly
Fit theair filter back onto thegrille and then fit thegrille onto thedehumidifier.
Drain hose operation
When thedehumidifier is used in anenvironment with high humidity, thewater reservoir will need
emptying often. In such circumstances, it could be more practical to use adrain hose.
1. Remove therubber plug covering thedrain hose connection (17).
2. Connect asuitable 13.5 mm bore drain hose (sold separately). Make sure that thedrain hose
is secure and tight to prevent leakage.
3. Theother end of thedrain hose should be inserted into adrain which is lower than thedrain
hose connection on thedehumidifier.
4. Position thehose in such away that thewater can drain freely. Avoid kinking and pinching
thehose.
5. To remove thedrain hose, switch thedehumidifier off, unplug it and disconnect thedrain
hose from thedrain hose connection.
6. Re-insert therubber plug into thedrain hose connection.
