Use
Changing the spindle speed
The spindle speed can be altered by moving the belts between the pulleys. The machine is
equipped with a safety switch which automatically shuts off the machine if the belt cover is
opened. Move the belts like this:
1. Open the belt housing (7) by loosening
the screws on the right side of the
housing.
2. Loosen the wing nut (13) and turn the
lever (14) clockwise to release the belt
tension.
3. Move the belts to the position giving
you the desired speed. Use the table
on the inside of the belt housing.
4. Retensionthebeltsbyturningthelever
(14) anticlockwise and locking it with
the wing nut (13). The belt is correctly
tensionedwhenyoucanexitapprox.
1 cm.
5. Close the belt
housing and screw it
down so that the machine can be used.

Rust protection
The machine is lubricated at the factory. This protective coating is easily removed using envi-
ronmentally safe solvent.
