Scan Function
Turn on microTALK PR 900 DX.An audible
“tone”will indicate the unit is on and then
the LCD will go through a 3 second self-test
and then go to Operational Mode.
Press and release Mode Button until
( ) icon and Main Channel flashes.

VOX
VOX setting allows you to have hands-free
conversation.Your voice is detected and the
radio t ransmits without the need to press
the PTT Talk Bu t to n .
To set radio for VOX operation:
Ro t a te the Volume Co nt rol co u nte rc l oc kwise
to turn power OFF.
Press and hold the PTT Talk Bu t to n .
Ro t a te the Volume Co nt rol cloc kwise to turn
power ON.
To set the VOX sensitivity leve l ,
A .Pre s sthe Mode Bu t t on until VOX ico n
flashes and VOX appears in LCD Pa n e l .
B. Pre s sthe Channel Up or Down Bu t tons
to select from 01-10 Vo i c e Levels with 01
being the least sensitive and 10 being the
most sensitive.
C .Pre s sthe PTT Talk Bu t ton to co n f i rm your
s e l e ct i o n .
D. To turn off the VOX fe at u re,ro t a t e the Vo l u m e
Co nt rol co u n te rc l oc kwise to turn power OFF
and then turn power ON again.
