or S CA N flashes on the LCD panel.The channel
is set to the solid ico n .
Pressing either Channel Up or Down
Buttons will toggle be tween skip and sca n .

Press Channel Up or Down Buttons and the
unit will begin scanning the Main Channels.
Unit will co ntinue to scan all Main Ch a n n e l s
with CTCSS Pri va cy Codes that are on the scan
list (p.19) and stop if an incoming tra n s m i s s i o n
is dete cte d.
A. Press and hold PTT Talk Button and talk.
Your radio will return to Operational Mode
on that channel as long as a signal is dete cte d
or...
B. Press Channel Up or Down Buttons to
rescan the Main Channel.
or...
C. To exit scan either press the Mode
Button or turn the unit off.
