Changing the Remote Transmitter Battery
The 12-volt alkaline battery supplied in your remote transmitter should last
approximately one year, depending on usage. When the battery begins to weaken,
you will notice a decrease in range, or the distance from your vehicle that your
remote transmitter will operate. Follow the instructions below to change the remote
transmitter battery.
1. Using a coin pry off the back of the transmitter (the transmitter
snaps together) and expose the battery.
2. Remove the old battery and replace with a new one. Be sure
to observe the (+) and (-) signs in the battery compartment.
5. Replace the case backing, then test the remote transmitter.
It is not necessary to re-program the remote transmitter
after changing the battery.

Programming Remote Transmitters
Note: Each system module has four “slots”, or memory locations, to store remote
transmitter codes, giving it the ability to operate from up to four remote transmitters.
For proper operation, a transmitter code must be stored into each memory slot.
When using less than four transmitters, follow the suggested programming
parameters:
• One Remote Transmitter - Program four (4) times
• Two Remote Transmitters - Program each remote transmitter two (2) times
• Three Remote Transmitters - Program one remote transmitter twice, and each
remaining remote transmitter once.
1. Open driver’s door.
2. Turn vehicle ignition ON.
3. Press and hold programming buttton.
4. After 10-15 seconds, siren will sound 3 times. Release programming button.
5. Press button ARM on new transmitter.
6. Repeat step 5 to program additional transmitters (up to four).
7. Turn vehicle ignition OFF.
