7 First Time Programming Instructions
Enter Password
1. Call the unit from a touch-tone phone. The IA3100 will answer at the rst ring. When the
IA3100 answers and is ready to receive a command you will hear a Request For Acknowl-
edge (RFA) tone.
2. From the time of the RFA, you have ve seconds to enter a “2”. The 2” must be followed by
the programming password (default is 2258) and “#”. (2 – 2258 – #)
3. If the password is correct, you will hear a single beep and you can continue to enter your
next command. If the password is incorrect, you will hear a triple beep and the IA3100 will
hang up.
Enter Basic Programming
1. Enter “2 - 2258#” to enter programming.
2. Enter “90 - #” (resets phone to defaults) wait for beep.
3. Enter “50<<1st Emergency Number>>#” (Sets the rst number to call when the red button
is pressed). Wait for beep. Repeat for command 51, 52. (51 to 55 if using a IA3100-D or
IA3100-K Faceplate)
4. Hold down “#” for two to three seconds to exit programming.
Ring Down Mode Programming
1. Enter “2 - 2258#” to enter programming.
2. Enter “90 - #” (resets phone to defaults), wait for beep.
3. For Ring Down or “Hot-Line,” enter “35 - 4 - #”. Wait for beep.
