- Do not tamper with the excess pressure safety device,
only move it from time to time to ensure that it is not
stuck and eliminate any dirt or grease that may have
been deposited on it; the device intake tube must be fit-
ted with a safety device that complies with the relevant
standard, calibrated to a maximum pressure of 0.8 MPa,
to include at least: a tap, retention valve, safety valve
and hydraulic load cut-off.
- It is normal for water to drip from the excess pressure
safety device and the EN 1487 safety device when the
unit is heating up. For this reason, a drain must be fitted
that is in the open air, with a pipe continuously tilted
downwards, in an area that is not subjected to sub-zero
temperatures.
