n To open the lid, push the latch release located

n The battery compartment is located on the
bottom of the stove, near the handle.
n Open the battery compartment by turning the
thumbscrew.
n Assemble the AA battery into the compartment.
Observe polarity.
n Close the battery cover.
NOTE: Use a fresh AA alkaline battery only. Do
not use a nickle cadmium battery. Remove your
battery if you won’t be using your stove for an
extended time period. (Fig. 8)
