To Set Up Tent
NOTE: Before setting up your tent, separate the poles to be used
for the Hinge Door from the other poles and set aside. The
Vertical Hinge Door Pole is the short, black pole with plastic cap
tips and the Hinge Door Pole is the longer, black pole with plastic
cap tips.
These two poles will be used later after the tent and rainfly have
been assembled.
1. Unfold tent and spread out on a clean, level surface with the
door facing the desired direction. Unzip door.
2. Assemble main tent poles by interlocking both longer, black
shock-corded, poles.
3. Insert black poles through sleeves in top of tent forming an
“X” as shown. (Fig. 1)
4. Insert one end of each black pole
into pins in rear corners of tent.

5. Go to opposite end
of each pole and
gradually apply
pressure to the
pole forming an arch.
Insert the pin into the
pole end at the tent
corners. (Fig. 3)
6. Stretch corners of tent until floor is taut then hammer stakes
through loops to secure.

7. Attach frame clips along edges of tent
to frame poles (Fig. 4)
8. Assemble two side poles by interlocking
both, gray shock-corded, poles.

To Attach Rainfly
1. Assemble interlocking shock-corded
front awning pole.
2. Drape rainfly over tent. Make sure
colored-fabric end is centered over
the door with the web pockets
facing down.
3. Slide front awning pole through
sleeve at front of the flap. (Fig. 9)
4. Insert one end of front awning pole
into remaining pin in front corner
of tent. (Fig. 10)
5. Go to opposite end of the pole
and gradually apply pressure to
the pole forming an arch. Insert
pin into the pole end at the
opposite side of tent.
6. Assemble three black rainfly poles (2 short poles and 1
longer pole) with metal tips. The 2 shorter poles go into
sleeves over side
windows and the
longer pole goes
in the sleeve over
the back window.

7. Insert tip of rainfly
pole into grommet on side of window
and gently arch until you can insert the
opposite end into the other grommet
(Fig. 12). Repeat for other rainfly poles.
8. Hook clip on elastic cords at corners of
rainfly to the rings in the corners of the
tent. (Fig. 13)

9. Insert gray poles through sleeves
above windows on both sides of
tent. (Fig. 5)

10. Insert one end of each gray pole into pins
located on both sides of front door. (Fig. 6)
11. Go to opposite end of each pole and
gradually apply pressure to the pole
forming an arch. Insert the pin into the
pole end at the rear of the tent.
12. Attach
remaining
frame clips
along tent
to gray side
poles.

Before you begin
Read all instructions before set up.
• Select a level campsite clear of rocks, branches, and other hard
or sharp objects, to install your tent.
WARNING: Keep clear of overhead power lines.
Do not set up your tent under trees.
For best results in windy conditions, position end of tent into
the wind.
Enlist the help of at least one other person to assist you when
it is time to assemble the tent.

Setting Up Your Tent

Unfold and Prepare Tent

Unfold tent on a clean surface with the door facing the desired direction.

Assemble Main Tent Poles

Secure Black Poles to Rear

Insert ends of black poles into pins in the rear corners of the tent.

Apply pressure to poles to form arches and insert pins into tent corners.

Stake Tent Corners

Stretch tent corners taut and secure with stakes.

Attaching the Rainfly

Assemble Front Awning Pole

Assemble the interlocking shock-corded front awning pole.

Drape Rainfly Over Tent

Center the colored-fabric end of the rainfly over the door, with web pockets down.

Insert Front Awning Pole

Slide the front awning pole through the sleeve at the front of the rainfly flap.

Secure Front Awning Pole

Insert one end of the front awning pole into the front corner tent pin.

Form Rainfly Arch

Apply pressure to the pole to form an arch and insert the pin into the opposite tent side.

Install Rainfly Poles

Install the three black rainfly poles into window sleeves.

Secure Rainfly Poles

Secure rainfly poles by inserting tips into window grommets.

Attach Rainfly Corners

Hook elastic cord clips on rainfly corners to tent rings.

Secure Rainfly with Velcro

Use velcro hook & loop on the rainfly underside for securing.

Attach and Stake Guylines

Tie guylines to rainfly straps, stretch taut, and secure with stakes.

Secure Front Rainfly Flaps

Extend and secure front rainfly flaps with stakes or toggles.

Door and Window Vents

Assemble Door Poles

Assemble vertical hinge door pole and hinge door pole for door.

Insert Door Poles

Insert ends of both door poles into sockets at top and bottom of door.

Ventilate Door Flap

Unzip, roll down, and secure door flap for ventilation.

Open Window Vents

Unzip, roll up, and secure back and side window vents for ventilation.

Cooler Access

Use as Tent Vent

Unzip the smaller rear opening flap to expose the screen for ventilation.

Use for Cooler Access

Unzip the other rear opening flap for access to a beverage cooler.

Electrical Cord Access

Access Cord Opening

Unzip tent access panel to bring in electrical cord using UL approved cords.

Attaching Dividers

Install Divider Panels

Install divider panels by inserting toggles through fabric loops on tent sides.

Storing the Tent

Prepare for Storage

Ensure tent is clean and dry; remove poles and stakes before storage.

Fold and Pack Tent

Neatly fold tent to width of pole bag, roll tightly, and place in carry case.

Storage Location

Store the tent in a clean, dry area.

Important Safety and Care Information

Condensation Management

Minimize condensation by providing good ventilation and removing wet items.

Tent Storage Precautions

Do not store tent wet or dirty; do not pack stakes/poles inside tent.

Tent Pole Storage

Do not leave tent poles telescoped together during storage.
