Why is the suction power reduced on my Columbus ARA 80 BM 100 iL?

  If the suction power is reduced or there is no suction at all in your Columbus Scrubber, the possible causes include a full recovery tank (empty it), an unclosed recovery discharge hose (close the closure cap), a blocked air filter in the recovery tank (clean or change the air filter insert), a suction hose and squeegee blocked by dirt or hose not properly attached (clean the suction hose and ensure it's firmly attached), or a recovery tank cover that isn't closed or has a defective or dirty seal (close the cover, or clean/replace the seal).

  If your Columbus Scrubber's suction unit or brush unit isn't working, it could be due to several reasons: the battery charge may be run down (recharge the batteries), the battery terminals might be dirty or loose (check, clean, grease, and tighten if necessary), the batteries could be faulty (check and replace if needed), the internal protection of the control system might be triggered (switch off, determine and remove the error source, change the fuse, and switch on again), or the motor may be faulty (contact the supplier).

  If no cleaning solution comes out of the brush unit of your Columbus Scrubber, check if the cleaning solution flow control is switched on (switch it on if it's off), ensure the solution tank isn't empty (refill it if it is), inspect the flow control valve for blockages or dirt (clean the valve), and verify that the cleaning solution supply hose isn't trapped or constricted (check and free the hose).

  If the squeegee on your Columbus Scrubber is leaving stripes, it could be due to dirt under the squeegee (clean the squeegee) or the squeegee being worn out (turn over or replace the squeegee blades).
