Why won't the upper stage of my Command Light KNIGHT Lighting Equipment rotate?
    • E
      Elizabeth DavenportSep 10, 2025
The upper stage of your Command Light Lighting Equipment might not rotate if the lower stage isn't raised above the safety limit of 16 inches above the base, so raise the lower stage higher. It could also be due to rotation motor failure, in which case you should consult with the factory.

Why must the autopark button be held in to park Command Light KNIGHT Lighting Equipment unit?
    • D
Dr. Megan Byrd MDSep 12, 2025
If you need to hold the autopark button to park your Command Light Lighting Equipment unit, it could be due to a faulty or stuck nest switch, so check the nest switch ground and operation, noting that the rubber boot may have shrunk and is holding in the switch. Another cause might be water in the electronics, so remove any moisture from the ground points and electronics, and remember not to use a pressure washer to clean the unit.

What causes Command Light Lighting Equipment rotation to coast after the switch is released?
    • S
      Steven MorrisSep 14, 2025
If the rotation coasts after the switch is released on your Command Light Lighting Equipment, the rotation belt is likely loose. Adjust the belt to provide no more than ¼” slack.

Why do the upper actuator and rotation start simultaneously on my Command Light Lighting Equipment?
    • S
      Scott PerezSep 16, 2025
If the upper actuator and rotation start at the same time on your Command Light Lighting Equipment, it's likely due to a down limit switch being stuck or damaged. Check that the aluminum plunger, which activates the down limit switch, moves freely and verify proper switch operation.
