VOL
8
and
press
lETURN
Second:
Type
SOUND

and
press
RETURN
You
should
hear
a
note
play
for
about
a
second
and
then
stop.
If
you
don't
hear
anything,
turn
up
the
volume
of
your
television or
monitor
and
try
it
again.
These
two
steps
are
the
only
commands
you
need
to
know
to
play
music on
your
Commodore
16.
Both
commands
are
easy
to
understand
and
easier
to
use.

Volume
Command
The
VOL
command
controls
the
VOLume
of
the
notes
that
your
Commodore
16
plays.
The
number
after
VOL
sets
the
volume
from
LOUD
(VOL
8)
to
OFF
(VOL
0)
