The following chart lists all ol the characters built into the Commodore
character
sets

shows which numbers should

acter corresponds
to a

the screen
Two
character sets are available, but only
one set at a
time.
This
means
that you cannot have characiers from one set
on
the screen
at
the
same
lime
you have characters from the other
set displayed. The
sets are
switched
by holding down the
shift
and
O
keys
simultaneously.
From BASIC, PRINT
CHR$(142) will switch
to
upper-case/graphics
mode and PRINT
CHRS(14) switches to upper/iower-case mode.
Any number on the chart may also
be displayed in REVERSE The
reverse
character
code
may
be
obtained
by
adding 128
to the
values shown
