SETTING THE DEVICE NUMBER
Each periphral in Commodo re Home Computer System has its
own device numbe r. The dev i ce number can be assigned from

10 31 and the default val ue for the drive is 8 (t his is preset by
factory).
There provi
de two ways to change device number, one is by
pr
ogramming, th e ano ther by sw it ch the DIP se lector (on back
pannel). Norma ll y, t his is not necessary to do so .
Software
method :
Method I:
OFF a ll dr ives first. then power up the dr ive which will be
changed device number. And RUN the fo ll ow i ng routine.
