10.3. ERROR MESSAGES AND
SOLUTIONS
Portalter not saved: in automatic mode,
the portalter is not in the memory. The
display shows the message “Portalter
NOT RECOGNISED. REPEAT THE
PROCESS”.
Portalter removed during taring:
Indicates that the portalter has been
removed during the taring. The display
shows the message “TARING ERROR.
REPEAT THE PROCESS”.
Sudden change of portalter during
taring: There has been a sudden change
in the measured portalter weight during
taring. The display shows the message
“TARING ERROR. REPEAT THE PROCESS”.
Sudden change in weight during grinding:
There has been a sudden change in the
measurement while grinding. The display
shows the message “WEIGHT EXCEEDED.
REMOVE Portalter”.
Portalter removed during grinding:
Indicates that the portalter has been
removed during the grinding. The display
shows the message “REPEAT THE
PROCESS”.
Maximum grinding time exceeded: If,
while grinding, the preset time is reached
before the target weight, the grinder will
stop. The display shows the message
“GRINDING TIME EXCEEDED. REMOVE
Portalter”.
Extra weight detected during grinder
start-up: During the grinder’s start-up time,
there must be no weight on the support,
if it is turned on with the portalter or
something else in the support, the machine
will produce an error. The display shows
the message “START-UP ERROR. REPEAT
THE PROCESS”.
