REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT

Perform preparation procedures

Remove the hood

Remove the fax/modem and any other
option cards.

Remove the system board bracket
5
Disconnect the power cables to these
mass storage devices:
■ 3.5" hard drive or 5.25" hard
drive
■ CD or DVD drive
■ Zip drive (available on select
models)
■ diskette drive or SuperDisk drive
(available on select models)

Remove the four screws that secure
the power supply to the rear of the
chassis
7
Slide the power supply back and
remove from the chassis.
To replace the power supply, reverse this
procedure.
