Clearing CMOS
If the power-on password is unknown, clearing CMOS will disable the
password and allow the computer to be operated.
The location of the Real-time Clock (RTC) battery is shown on the system
board illustration below.

Complete the
preparation for
disassembly.

Remove the chassis cover .

Remove the fax/modem board.

Remove the system board.

Remove the RTC battery.
