Caps lock light On: Caps lock is on.

keypad is on.*

referred to as hard
drive/optical drive activity

On: The internal hard drive or the
optical drive bay is being accessed.

Optical disk drive light On: The optical drive bay is being
accessed.

5-in-1 Memory Reader light
(select models)
On: Memory Reader is accessing an
optional digital media card.
