1. Precaution
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK,
DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS WITHIN THIS CAMERA. REFER REPAIRS TO THE SUPPLIER.

Important Safeguards
1. Read Instructions
All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is in
operation.
2. Retain Instructions
The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
3. Cleaning
Down power the product and remove power connector from the power source. To clean,
user a damp soft cloth. Do not use liquid aerosol cleaners.
4. Attachments
Do not use unauthorised part or accessories without the approval of the manufacturer, as
some additions may result in risk or re, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the
product.
5. Water and/or Moisture
Ensure this product is not exposed to water or moisture. Do not pour water on or install
product humid environment.
6. Placing and Accessories
Do not install this camera on a wall or ceiling that does not have the structural integrity
to support the weight of the camera. The product could fall causing personal injury to
individuals nearby and serious damage to the product. The wall or ceiling installation
7. Power Sources
This equipment should be operated by the type of power labelled on the unit. If you are not
sure of the type of power, the camera requires 12V DC, 24V AC, POE++.
You may want to install a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system for safe operation in
order to prevent damage caused by an unexpected power stoppage. Any questions
concerning UPS, consult a UPS retailer.
8. Power Cord
Do not apply the power to the camera before it is installed. This will prevent an electric
shock.
9. Lightning
While the product has TVS protection, it is recommended for additional protection during
electric or thunder storm, or if the product is unused for long periods of time, that the
power supply to the camera is disconnected. This will prevent the product in some cases
where the main power experiences a surge over the uctuations of TVS. Alternatively a
surge protection device could be installed at the location where lightning is common.
10. Overloading
Do not connected too many devices to signal mains power outlets and/or extension
leads as this will increase the risk of electric shock and/or re.
11. Objects and Liquids
Do not force foreign objects through openings in the product as they may touch
dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could cause a re or electric shock.
12. Servicing
Do not attempt to service this equipment yourself. Refer all servicing to quali ed service
personnel.
13. When product needs to be serviced
Remove the mains power supply and contact a quali ed service personal when the
following has occurred:
A. When the power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged.
B. If liquid is spilled, or objects have hit the product.
C. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
D. If the instructions have be followed and the camera is still not operational.
Do not attempt to repair the camera as this may result in further damage.
Please contact your supplier for professional advice.
E. If the product has been dropped or the housing is damaged.
F. When the user notices a distinct change in operation that is different from the norm.
14. Replacement Parts
When the product is repaired ensure that the parts replaced are authorised by the
manufacturer. Unauthorised parts increase the risk or malfunction, re and electric shock.
15. After Service
After any repairs or servicing has been undertaken on the product, it must then be tested
by an authorised technician to perform safety checks to ensure the product operates
normally.
16. Field Installation
This installation should be made by a quali ed service person and should conform to all
local regulations.
While moving this product, be sure to move it with care. Following manual handling
guidelines in place and ensure that if the boxed products when carted do not fall, avoid
quick stops, excessive force and uneven surfaces as these may cause the cart to overturn or
the product to fall. Do not store this product in an enclosed space, ventilation is required to
prevent temperature increases what can cause malfunction or risk of fi re.
