3.7 “AMS VERSION” INTERFACES
The PSL-AMS actuator has many interfaces inside the Terminal Box. Configuration is via PSCS software or via the local control panel
PSC.2 (Optional on request).
3.7.1 COMMUNICATION INTERFACES
For communication and parameterisation with a PC or with a
manual device, connect the communication cable to port RJ45,
the parameters of the actuator can be set using the PSCS
software.
3.7.2 INPUT TERMINALS
3.7.2.1 - Galvanic isolation control signal
The terminals from 1 to 3 are used to receive control signals which
can be parameterised and regulated, for a control within a range
of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V, split-range is also possible.
3.7.2.2 - Feedback signal for process control (Optional on request)
The terminals from 15 to 17 are used to receive process sensor
feedback - an optional on request - process controller, in a range
of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V.
ATTENTION The following binary inputs (3.5.2.3 and 3.5.2.4 ) have priority over the control signal, if the actuator is
parameterised for a modulating service with control signals, these values are not considered if a binary input is applied.
After disconnecting the binary signal, the actuator will be repositioned according to the control signal applied.
3.7.2.3 Galvanic isolation binary inputs
The terminals from 15 to 17 are used to receive process sensor
feedback - an optional on request - process controller, in a range
of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V.
