Operation
Model I-380:
• The device does not fog if the DMX value of the set DMX channel is less than 128.
•
The device emits the maximum fog quantity when the DMX value is higher
than 128.
• You can still control the device via the enclosed remote control.
Model I-580X:
•T
he fog quantity is adjusted continuously via the DMX value of the set DMX
channel.
Value 0 > no fog output
Value 255 > maximum fog output
• When a DMX controller is connected, operation via the enclosed remote control is
not possible.
Handling
• Never plug the mains plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has
been taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that develops
may lead to the destruction of the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the pow-
er supply. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never connect or disconnect power plugs with wet hands.
• Never disconnect mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always
pull out the mains plug by gripping it on the surfaces provided for this purpose.
• Always pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if the device is not going to be
used for longer periods of time and empty the tank.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket dur-
ing thunderstorms.
• Never touch the device when in operation or shortly afterwards close to the fog
output opening as it becomes immensely hot. There is risk of burning!
• Never use dirty fog liquids. Always close the tank and the reservoir for your fog liq-
uid right after filling.
• Always empty the tank before transporting the device or not using it for a longer
period.
• Only use fog liquid on water basis. Suitable fog liquids are listed in the „Technical
Data“.
