Operation
Model I-380:
The device does not fog if the DMX value of the set DMX channel is less than 128.
The device emits the maximum fog quantity when the DMX value is higher
than 128.
You can still control the device via the enclosed remote control.
Model I-580X:
•T
he fog quantity is adjusted continuously via the DMX value of the set DMX
channel.
Value 0 > no fog output
Value 255 > maximum fog output
When a DMX controller is connected, operation via the enclosed remote control is
not possible.
Handling
Never plug the mains plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has
been taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that develops
may lead to the destruction of the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the pow-
er supply. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
Never connect or disconnect power plugs with wet hands.
Never disconnect mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always
pull out the mains plug by gripping it on the surfaces provided for this purpose.
Always pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if the device is not going to be
used for longer periods of time and empty the tank.
For safety reasons, always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket dur-
ing thunderstorms.
Never touch the device when in operation or shortly afterwards close to the fog
output opening as it becomes immensely hot. There is risk of burning!
Never use dirty fog liquids. Always close the tank and the reservoir for your fog liq-
uid right after filling.
Always empty the tank before transporting the device or not using it for a longer
period.
Only use fog liquid on water basis. Suitable fog liquids are listed in the „Technical
Data“.
