      The pilot light may fail to ignite due to several reasons. It could be caused by short, loose, or damaged wiring connections, resulting in poor flame rectification. Try to reprogram the receiver code. Alternatively, there might be no signal from the remote, in which case you should replace the receiver. A poor grounding could also be the cause, so verify the valve and pilot assembly are properly grounded. Improper switch wiring can also cause this issue, so troubleshoot the system with the simplest on/off switch. Lastly, a dirty, painted, or damaged pilot or sensor rod may be the problem. Clean the sensor rod with a green Scotch-Brite™ pad to remove any contamination and verify continuity with a multimeter.

      If your appliance isn't working at all, start by checking the breaker to ensure it's in the 'on' position, verifying that there is power to the system. If your appliance is equipped with a receiver, make sure that the 3 position switch on the receiver is in the remote position (middle). Also, ensure that the transmitter is operational by checking the battery power and battery orientation.

      If the pilot light ignites, but the main burner doesn't, several factors could be at play. First, check that the incoming gas line ball valve is open and that you have an adequate supply of gas, filling the propane tank if necessary. The pilot supply line may contain air, so repeat the ignition process several times or purge the pilot supply line. Incorrect wiring or grounding could also be the issue; ensure correct polarity of wiring of the thermocouple (if equipped) and verify the pilot assembly and valve are properly grounded.
