  Reduced suction performance in your Cooke & Lewis Ventilation Hood can occur for several reasons. The speed setting might be too low, so try selecting a higher speed. Also, the distance between the hood and the hob could be too great; readjust it to 650mm for gas hobs or 435mm for electric hobs. Check if the top vent is obstructed and clear any obstructions. Finally, if you're using an optional vent kit, ensure it isn't twisted.
