Installation Instructions

Mark The Holes

For stock shades, use Fig 2 for screw placement. For custom shades, mark holes 1/2" less than overall measurement at each end.

Install Brackets

Install Clutch and Idle End Brackets on the right and left sides respectively. Do not tighten screws completely yet.

Install the Shade

Insert Clutch Plug into Clutch Unit. Insert Idle End Plug into Idle End Unit and snap securely into place.

Install Tension Device

Secure chains/pull cords with a tension device for child safety. Ensure chain is taut but operable and does not twist.

Install Tie Downs

Thread bungee through end cap ring and back through itself. Install receiver below shade stop for proper tension.

Adjusting Chain Tension

Adjust chain tension by loosening or tightening screws on the bracket cover for smoother operation.

Alternative Clutch Setup

Changing to Left-hand Chain Control

To move the chain to the left side, slide off the Bracket Cover, remove screws, turn the clutch unit 180 degrees, and reassemble.

Changing to Top/ceiling Mount

For ceiling mounts, rotate the Clutch Unit 90 degrees and adjust the Idle End Unit opening.
