1. General
This document describes the installation of the
WCH-SSH Slack Storage Housing manufactured by
Corning Cable Systems.
2. Description
2.1 The WCH-SSH is a wall mountable slack
storage unit designed to hold splice trays and cable
slack. The unit will support a WCH housing and has
1x 3-inch knockout(s) in its cover for hidden cable
routing directly to the WCH.
2.2 Two Slack Storage Housings are available:
The WCH-SSH-2 designed to hold a WCH-02P and
a WCH-SSH-4-12 designed to hold a WCH 04P,
06P, 08P, and 12P.
2.3 Splice trays are secured inside the housing
with a Velcro® strap. The WCH-SSH-4-12
accomodates up to eight 0.2-inch or four 0.4-inch
splice trays including M67, M68, and UST-024. The
WCH-SSH-2 accomodates four 0.2-inch or two 0.4-
inch splice trays (M67-042, 060, 061, and 068).
