  If your Cosmo Cooktop isn't working, there might be a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Try replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker. If that doesn't solve the problem, you should call an electrician. Also, make sure the control knobs are correctly set by pushing them in before turning to a setting. If the cooktop is not wired properly, please refer to the Installation Instructions in the Cooktop Installation Manual.

  If your Cosmo Cooktop isn't cooking as expected, make sure you're using the right cookware by referring to the Cookware section on Page 10. Also, check that the control knob is set to the correct heat level by referring to the Cooktop Controls section on Page 7. Finally, ensure the cooktop is level, referring to the Installation Manual, Page 12, "Prepare Cooktop for Installation".

  If you notice excessive heat around the cookware on your Cosmo Cooktop, it might be because the cookware size is incorrect. Use cookware that's about the same size as the cooking area. The cookware shouldn't extend more than 1/2" (1.3 cm) outside the cooking area, as detailed on Page 9.
