Why can’t I start a game on COUCH CADE PAC-MAN?
If you've entered a game on your COUCH CADE but can't get it to start, first consult the game control section in the instruction manual to ensure you're pressing the correct button. If the issue persists, try connecting to other TV (1080p or higher), because your TV may not support 1366 x 768 resolution.
Install 4 "AAA" batteries in the battery compartment on the side of the Control Deck.
Ensure the control deck is turned off or in auto-off mode before proceeding.
Insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries, paying close attention to positive and negative pole orientation.
Replace the battery box cover, ensuring not to over-tighten the screw.
Connect the included HDMI cable to the TV and game console while both are off.
Connect the included Micro USB cable to the TV or a USB power adaptor.
Press the Power button on the Game Console to turn it on.
Turn ON the power switch on the Control Deck.
Press the Power Button on top of the Game Console to power ON.
The LED of the Control Deck will change from blinking to solid when paired.
If units fail to pair, turn them OFF and repeat steps or refer to 'Pairing Mode'.
Roll the trackball up and down to scroll through the game list.
Press a button to choose a game from the list.
Hold player 1 button for 5 seconds to return to the menu and save a high score.
Hold player 2 button for 5 seconds to reset the current game.
Check power button, USB connection, and HDMI input source.
Ensure batteries are inserted correctly and replace if necessary.
Adjust volume switch and check battery polarity.
Reset the game by cycling the power switch.
Remove debris between the button and housing.
Ensure correct joystick use or button presses for scrolling.
Verify the correct button is pressed to enter the game.
Check TV resolution compatibility (1080p or higher recommended).
Hold the exit button for 5 seconds.
