Interior Component Removal and Installation
TUB SIDE/CEILING COVER AND GASKET REMOVAL
To remove a tub side/ceiling cover and the gasket under it,
firstremove:
Upperrack or middle rack, as appropriate
REMOVE THE TUB SIDE/CEILING COVER AND
GASKET
To access the cover and gasket, remove or loosen
the air break or air drier manifold on the opposite side
of the tub wall from the cover as appropriate.
Insert plier handles into the tub side/ceiling cover.
Place a combination wrench between the plier
handles, and turn the tub side/ceiling cover

turn
counterclockwise.
CAUTION
Use a protective towel or pad inside the tub
to protect it in case of a dropped tool.
Remove the tub side/ceiling cover from the unit.
Remove the tub side/ceiling cover gasket from the
unit.
TUB SIDE/CEILING COVER AND GASKET
INSTALLATION
After installing a tub side/ceiling cover and the gasket
under it, install:
Upper rack or middle rack, as appropriate
INSTALL THE TUB SIDE/CEILING COVER AND GASKET
IMPORTANT NOTE: Whenever installing a cover,
replace the gasket with a new one.
Lubricate the new tub side/ceiling gasket with soapy
water.
Install the tub side/ceiling gasket into the tub.
Place the tub side/ceiling cover over the tub opening.
Insert plier handles into the tub side/ceiling cover.
Place a combination wrench between the handles of
the pliers, and turn the tub side cover

turn
clockwise.
CAUTION
Use a protective towel or pad inside the tub
to protect it in case of a dropped tool.
Install or tighten the air break or airdrier manifold as
appropriate.
