Base Component Removal and Installation
AIR DRIER MANIFOLD INSTALLATION
After installing the air drier manifold, install:
Air drier duct
Lower front cover
Door panel
Kickplate
Lower rack
Top and side insulation
INSTALL THE AIR DRIER MANIFOLD
Install a new gasket into the opening from the tub
side.
TIP: Be careful not to roll or kink the gasket.
Connect the wire connectors to the air drier fan
motor.
TIP: Either wire may connect to either motor
terminal.
Slide the air drier manifold with the drier fan upward
into the elbow, then swing it downward over the tub
gasket and unit base.
Use a

” socket to start the airdrier manifold
mounting screws.Do not fully tighten them yet.
Lubricate the inside of the gasket with a small
amount of soapy water.
Place thetub side cover over the gasket.
Use plier handles to rotate theairdrier manifold
cover inside the tub

turn clockwise.
TIP: Protect the tub bottom with towels or
padding.
TIP: Be careful not to roll or kink the gasket.
Use a

/
4
” socket to tighten the airdrier manifold
mounting screws to a snug fit.
AIR DRIER FAN REMOVAL
WARNING
Disconnect the product from the power source
before starting this procedure.
To remove the air drier fan, first uninstall the unit. Then,
remove:
Top and side insulation
Lower rack
Tub side cover and gasket between air drier manifold
and tub wall
Door panel
Kickplate
Lower front cover
Air drier duct
Air drier manifold
REMOVE THE AIR DRIER FAN
Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the air drier fan
mounting screws.
Remove the air drier fan from the manifold.
