It feels as if not all the
soap/shampoo has
been washed o.
• Have you thoroughly rinsed
o the soap/shampoo?
Softened water maximizes the eects of
the soap/shampoo without leaving any
residue. Because of that, your skin may
feel slippery. If this sensation does not
agree with you, rinse it o once more
using tap water.
The water has a
yellowish color.
• Have you just installed the
product or have you not
used the product for an
extended duration of time?
Although this is not harmful to the body,
allow the water to run for a minute or
two before continuing.
• Are there yellow granules
mixed in the water?
The yellow granules are actually the ion
exchange resin. Close the water supply
valve and contact a service center
immediately.
The product is making
noise.
• Is the regeneration cycle in
progress?
Turning the switching valve to the
‘Regenerate’ position activates a timer
that produces noise as it operates.
This noise stops once the regeneration
cycles comes to its end.
There is no water
coming out of the
product.
• Is the switching valve in the
‘Complete’ position?
Turn the switching valve to the ‘Soft
water’ position.
There is water coming
out of the drain hose.
• Have you closed the
regeneration tank cap
securely?
If the regeneration tank cap is loose,
water may leak from the tank opening
or the drain hose. Securely fasten the
cap before continuing.
It takes some time for
the water to reach the
temperature I want.
• Could you be checking
the water temperature too
quickly after changing the
temperature setting?
It takes time for the water to reach
a particular temperature and pass
through the product. Allow the water
to run for about a minute to let the
temperature stabilize before use.
