8. Insert a new composite lter into the lter tank and close the lter tank cap as shown in the
pictures below.

Water may leak if the lter tank cap is not fastened securely.
9. Turn the switching valve to the ‘Soft Water’ position and open the water faucet to drain the yellow
softened water for approximately 1 minutes.
10. Check that there is no water leaking and that the product has
been installed properly and close the top cover.
11. Attach the Regeneration Schedule sticker ( ) to the ux
gauge. (See the ‘tips’ on p.13.)

INSTALLING THE PRODUCT

The composite lter consists of a felt lter and
vitamin C. The felt lter removes suspended
solids and rust and the vitamin C removes any
residual chlorine.
-
Although yellow water may be extracted by
the oxidized vitamin C at the beginning of each
use due to the characteristics of vitamin C, the
water is not harmful to the human body. In this
case, just drain the water for approximately 1
minute, before using softened water.
