Bolt the sander securely to its stand. Ensure correct belt direction from idler to drive pulley.
Fill oil reservoirs with a good grade of machine oil. Keep reservoirs filled with oil.
Micrometer adjustment, wing nuts, screws, and bolts for work table and tension mechanisms.
Loosen lock stud, move lever to adjust belt tension. Do not run with tight belts.
Adjust knobs to center belt on pulleys. Tighten lock screws when belt tracks properly.
Loosen bolts to vary the belt table position from horizontal to vertical.
Place table in front of disc or belt. Adjust for right angles and bevels.
Reset the adjustable pointer to correct reading using a try square.
Correct operating range is 1200-1600 RPM. Recommends motor HP for work types.
Use idler pulley for drum sanding. Sand with grain. Oscillate material for fine finish.
