Why is my Craftsman Snow Blower not throwing snow?
    • M
      Michael CobbAug 30, 2025
If your Craftsman Snow Blower is not discharging snow, first, immediately stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire. Check the chute assembly for clogs and clean it, along with the inside of the auger housing, using a clean-out tool. Also, check for any foreign objects lodged in the auger and remove them with the clean-out tool. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the auger cable may need adjustment or the auger belt may be loose or damaged. In that case you should refer to the Assembly section or Service and Maintenance section. Another possibility is that the shear pins have sheared, requiring replacement; refer to the Operation section for instructions.
