Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
Read all warnings, instructions, and cautionary markings for the battery pack, charger and product. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may result in injury.
Charger suspends charging until battery pack reaches appropriate temperature for maximum life.
Charge battery packs when air temperature is between 65-75°F (18-24°C) for longest life and best performance.
Align battery pack with rails inside handle and slide into tool until firmly seated. Press release button to remove.
Requires one hand on the main handle and one hand on the battery pack for secure grip.
Pull trigger to turn ON/OFF. Trigger depth controls speed. Forward/reverse button controls direction and acts as lock-off.
Use torque adjustment collar to select operating mode and set torque for tightening screws based on material and screw size.
Slide speed selector to shift gears for low speed/high torque (position 1) or high speed/low torque (position 2).
Rotate chuck counterclockwise to insert bit. Tighten securely clockwise. Do not use tool to tighten/loosen bits.
Use only CRAFTSMAN recommended accessories. Use of other accessories could be hazardous.
WARNING: To reduce risk of injury, turn unit off and remove battery before making adjustments or installing accessories.
Blow dirt/dust from air vents weekly. Wear eye protection. Use water/mild soap for non-metallic parts. Do not immerse tool.
