50m (160 ft) can be considered water-tight (showering
possible). Only watches with a classification of 100m (328ft)
or more can be worn when swimming.
Water tightness is not a permanent property as the func-
tion of integrated gaskets may deteriorate with daily use
or be damaged by an impact or fall.
Subjecting the pulse watch to substantial changes in
temperature, e.g. while sunbathing followed by a jump
in cooler water, could cause condensation to form in the
watch casing. This does not necessarily indicate that the
watch is not water-tight, however, the moisture must be
immediately removed. In this case, contact the service
address indicated on the warranty card.
