Congratulations on being the owner of a CRESS FIREMATE® ceramic kiln! This kiln is
a safe, reliable, and very popular automatic kiln, which gives you a fast and energy
efficient firing. Because it gradually increases power throughout the firing process, and
senses and adjusts for room temperature and small voltage changes incoming to your
home, the Firemate subjects your ware to the least possible thermal shock and gives you
highly repeatable and consistent firing results. Unlike most other kilns, the elements from
top to bottom are each adjusted electrically to give the most uniform firing possible. The
FIREMATE® has been patented in 16 countries for its excellent and unique control
system. The use of firebrick will give you the slowness in cooling that museum quality
art requires while the FIREMATE® has the unique ability to add more speed to the age-
old process without hurting the quality of the ware.

UNPACK SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY
When this shipment was given to the carrier, neither the carton nor the contents were
damaged. In case of damage or loss (either obvious or concealed) save all the packing
material. Concealed damage or loss discovered by the consignee, which was not noted at
time of delivery, must be reported to the delivering carrier immediately upon discovery.
At that time, an inspection of merchandise by the carrier’s representative should be
requested. Failure to report such a damage or loss within 15 days places the burden of
proof upon the claimant to show this damage or loss was caused while in the carrier’s
possession.
